Wow. Don't see these come along too often... Descent, starring Rosario Dawson, has received an NC-17 rating. The movie is about a woman who tries to piece her life back together after a brutal rape, and thus the movie is rated NC-17 for "a brutal rape".I have a screener in the mail, so hopefully I'll be able to let you know soon if a) the MPAA overreacted like it does on so many sexually related sequences (though I usually have issue with their Republican censorship on consensual sex, not rape) and b) if the movie is any good.
