Best Picture: Letters from Iwo Jima
Best Director: Martin Scorsese
Best Actor: Forest Whitaker
Best Actress: Helen Mirren
Best Supporting Actor: Eddie Murphy
Best Supporting Actress: Jennifer Hudson
Best Foreign Picture: Pan's Labyrinth
Best Animated Picture: Cars (even though it sucked big time)
However, our picks (a.k.a. movies that we want to win but won't necessarily win) are as follows:
Best Picture: The Departed
Best Director: Martin Scorsese
Best Actor: Will Smith
Best Actress: Meryl Streep (but we're fine with Helen Mirren, too)
Best Supporting Actor: Jackie Earle Haley
Best Supporting Actress: Adriana Barraza
Best Foreign Picture: Pan's Labyrinth
Best Animated Picture: Monster House (because this movie kicked ass)
